Graduate Students

Azad Rahman

Azad Rahamn will join the Lee Group as a Ph.D. student in Spring 2025. He received his B.S. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2022 and is currently pursuing his M.S. degree from BUET. His primary research interests are semiconductor optoelectronics and photonics. He is passionate about designing and implementing optoelectronic and photonic devices for multi-faceted applications. He is a fan of traveling and football (the original one).

Jay Radadiya

Jay Radadiya will join the Lee Group as a Ph.D student in Spring 2025. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at UTA. With a strong interest in semiconductor fabrication and optoelectronic devices, he focuses on advanced techniques and technologies that drive innovation in these fields. Jay is also serving as an EE Ambassador and is a Teaching Assistant and Lab Instructor for the Circuit Analysis course. His academic journey is characterized by a dedication to understanding the intricacies of semiconductor and optoelectronic devices and their applications in advanced photonic systems. Beyond his research, Jay enjoys following developments in the silicon device and photonics industry and has a passion for cricket, which he enjoys as a favorite sport.
