Azad recently attended the 2025 UTA Photonics Workshop and Showcase, where he presented his research during the poster session.
Having joined the EQuIP Lab in January 2025, Azad has already made remarkable progress.

Dr. Lee was part of the operations committee for the 2025 UTA Photonics Workshop and Showcase, held on February 14, 2025, at Nedderman Hall.
This year’s workshop brought together over 140 participants, centered around the theme “Chip-Scale Photonics and Heterogeneous Integration.”
The event featured renowned invited speakers, and attendees had the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions during the panel session.

We have successfully fabricated InGaAs photodiodes—the first photodiodes realized at the EQuIP Lab—demonstrating our full in-house fabrication capabilities.
This achievement is the result of our collaboration with CINT. We are excited to advance to the next stage of research!
